Family & Matrimonial Department - Children
Whenever family relationships breakdown, children and their welfare must come first. We will help you to be aware of your children’s needs and interests as well as dealing with yours sympathetically. We will encourage you to work with your former partner to make arrangements for your children and can provide advice and take action when sadly this is not possible.
Issues including residence and contact, parental responsibility, change of name deeds, child support, Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders together with maintenance are all part of our remit.
